Chiangrai is a province at the top of Thailand up north so it’s one of the places that’s getting popular especially around year end from November-January when the whether will be relatively cool (temperature  can go down to below 10 degree Celsius if you go up the mountain or stay on the hills). Therefore it’s a great place to escape the heat of Bangkok that will be hot for the whole year (just more or less hot! :p ).

There’s a lot of direct flights from BKK to Chiangrai from many airlines. Airasia and Nok Air have great variety of prices.

แพนด้าไปมาตอนต้นปีที่แล้วนะคะ ตอน 9 เดือน เพิ่งจะหัดยืน เดินเตาะแตะ ยังไม่ซน ป๊าม๊าไม่ค่อยเหนื่อยค่ะ ไปกะครอบครัวใหญ่ เช่ารถตู้ไปเลยค่ะ แพนด้าแฮปปี้ เที่ยวเสร็จขึ้นรถกินนมนอน กินนมมามี๊ได้ทั้งวัน เอารูปที่เที่ยวที่ไปมาฝากค่ะ

BoonRawd Park – (Singha Park) belongs to the owner of Singha who is quite smart in turning their parks (which normally use to generate produces such as tea leave) to a tourist spot and has become popular in the past 2-3 years.

Inside the park there’s also small zoo with Giraffe, Zebra.

(Rai Cha 101, Rai Cha Chui Fong) Both are very nice! Rai Cha Chui Fong has a nice cafe that offers nice green tea bakery and savory dishes. Must try!

Mae Fa Luang Garden – beautiful flowers especially during winter when most flowers are blooming.
