For mommy shopping at Central World, you might want to know if they have any facilities for moms & babies. Thanks to Central World, they provide mom & baby facilities at 3 locations in the area, 1 at Zen Department store, 1 at Isetan Dept store and another 1 as part of Central World area.
If you’ve been to Central World before you’d know that restrooms are not difficult to find but big restrooms that you can put strollers in are quite hard to find. Well, for a single mom shopping alone with baby in strollers – this becomes an issue, right? .. well good news is Central World’s family lounge has a family restroom!
Family Lounge @ CTW 6th floor (near Zen Dept entrance & toilets next to Bar-B-Q Plaza)
3 separate breastfeeding/ nursing rooms (with curtains, no door)
3 sinks
2 changing table (no plastic bags provided)
no waiting area/ no sofa
1 family restroom inside the family lounge
How to get there?
Go to 6th floor, look for Zen department store entrance, you’ll find restroom sign near Bar-B-Q Plaza, turn there and the family lounge door should be on your left.
Family lounge door – for women only
The lounge is quite spacious. But there’s not much amenities. Just simple sink, changing table, waste bin. No plastic bag, no hot water.
3 separate rooms, large enough to bring 2 strollers in.
And what I love most about this room is the private family restroom 🙂 also large enough to bring strollers in.
Another mom & baby room available on the same floor, 6th floor, at Zen Department Store.
Mom & Baby Room @ Zen, CTW 6th floor (near Mom & Baby Products Department)
2 separate breastfeeding/ nursing rooms (with curtains, no door)
2 sinks
2 changing table ( plastic bags provided)
Waiting area, sofa for about 5-6 people
How to get there
Look for the milk bottle sign near the mom & baby products department. The entrance is near baby toys, you’ll see fisher price’s shelves.
Here’s the entrance – “breastfeeding room”
Basic amenities provided, sinks, changing table, plastic bag, waste bin, tissue paper. What I like most about this room is the natural light which I rarely see in any breastfeeding room I’ve been to before. Here you can see the BKK city view and BTS sky train.
One of the 2 nursing/breastfeeding rooms also have this same city view.
The room is quite small. You can bring the stroller in but will consume most of the space. Below picture is my baby enjoying the view 🙂 she loves the sky train!
Hope this is useful. Enjoy travelling with your baby in BKK.
